In 2024, three of us, Nouman, Junaid, and Umair, were standing in a Lahore pharmacy, holding two bottles.
That was the choice for ordinary Pakistanis. Pay four months of utility bills for a serum, or rub something dangerous on your face and hope for the best.
We thought: this can't be the only option.
An imported Niacinamide serum. Off the shelf for most people we knew.
An unbranded "whitening cream" with no ingredient list, no batch number, and a faint chemical smell. Sold by the thousand every day.

We Grew Up Here. We Watched It Happen.
We have sisters, mothers, cousins, friends. We watched them get sold:

There were two markets, one too expensive, one unsafe. Nothing in the middle for someone who wanted real actives, at a fair price, made for Pakistani skin, weather, and wallets.

The Ingredient GuyThe one who reads every label like it's a contract. Lives inside dermatology journals and PubMed tabs. Knows which actives play well together and which ones cancel each other out at the wrong pH. Wouldn't sign off on the Retinol for nine months because the stability data wasn't where he wanted it. If it's in a Siora bottle, Umair fought for it, or against it, first.
Nouman
The Face & The VoiceThe one who decides how Siora looks and sounds. Runs the brand, the design, the marketing. Writes the captions. Shoots the product. The reason our packaging doesn't shout and our DMs get answered before midnight. If you've ever messaged us at 11pm and gotten a real reply, that was probably Nouman.
Junaid
The BackboneThe one who keeps the whole thing standing. Walks the manufacturing floor, sits with the vendors, tests every batch with his own eyes before it ships. Handles the books, the suppliers, the boring paperwork that makes a brand real instead of a vibe. When a batch isn't right, Junaid is the reason it never reaches you.
We don't have a boardroom. We have a WhatsApp group called "Siora ki baat" and a shared spreadsheet of every formula we've ever shipped.
